As I've been talking to people about Chris, I have found that they all felt the same way about him. He was the person everyone went out of their way to talk to; the day wasn't complete until you got to see him or laugh with him or hear him tell a story about one of his daughters. I am so glad I had the chance to tell him what he meant to me.
Unfortunately, it took his death to make me realize some important life lessons: tell the people you care about how much you love them, always make time for them, and never put off any kindness because of the fear of vulnerability.
